Fees & Funding

Learn more about the fees and funding options available at Southover Nursery. We are always available to help, so do please ask if you have any questions about session times, fees or funding.

2 year olds

We normally suggest our 2 year olds start with two sessions a week, perhaps two morning or afternoon sessions or a morning and an afternoon session.

Some 2 year olds from working or disadvantaged families are entitled to receive EYEE (Early Years Educational Entitlement). This allows each child to access up to 15 hours a week of free nursery provision for 38 weeks a year. At Southover, these free hours can be claimed within our EYEE block times as set out below. We recommend that, if possible, children stay for a whole session (either until 12.30pm or until 3pm) as this allows them to settle in quickly and take part fully in all our activities. Any time attended in addition to the free hours can simply be paid for at our hourly rate. EYEE funding begins a full term after a child’s 3rd birthday.
